it is the east...

The woman in a blue coat is Lina, my wife, who graciously participated in this series when I was first experimenting with calibrating my camera and lens to reflect a painterly technique I was striving to create. I have a million words to write about Lina. Love is the first one, which is what struck me with a bolt the moment I first laid eyes on her -- true story. All the other words are written in this photograph for you to decipher, or to project, dear viewer. Even now I see our current life in here. I just remembered I once took a close up photo of a flower with sunset colors, like here. And I wrote as a caption: "It is the east. And Lina is the sun." [Yes, plagiarizing Shakespeare. So there]. The unconscious is everywhere here, but specially in the sunset colors.
