Elk River
Inspired by the short story The God's Script by the Argentinian writer Jorge Luis Borges, and guided by both formal and pure aesthetic preoccupations, I journeyed to Yellowstone to photograph the art, design, and color inherent in nature. Driven by an unconscious metaphysical need to uncover meaning, and motivated by a conscious need to document the earth we might destroy within our lifetime, I endeavored to provide a historical record of its beauty for all time.
